I love plastic fruit.
I don't know why,
but my mom
had a bowl of green and purple
(her favorite colours)
plastic grapes
in a beautiful
fancy glass glass bowl
on our piano.
Maybe that is
where my fondness
for them originated.

The other day I got brave,
and washed these in soapy water.
They are all flocked
(that means the fuzzy stuff is glued on),
and I was afraid the water would ruin them.
But luckily,
they turned out gorgeously!
I was so inspired by them.
I wanted to string
them using beads or something
into a fibre art piece....
my brain started ticking
with some really cool ideas!
But for now,
I have them
in a fancy glass bowl
on my fridge.
