Some threads
and fabric bits
laid out,
with a wee bit
o' candy wrapper
cut up.

my first attempt
at using the
water soluble

I bought
in 2006!

I have been saving
all the threads
from my sewing business
to recycle into
fibre art.

Here,
I have made
some passes
with the sewing machine
using a
straight stitch
and a zig zag stitch.
The threads

This is a close up
showing the free
motion stitching I used
to attach
the threads
to each other,
and to attach
the chartreuse coloured
lace to the edge.
: D
Some of the stitching
was done with the feed dogs
up, and some with
the feed dogs
lowered.

Here it is pinned
to my wool coat.
(too bad
I didn't make
two!)
It was a LOT of fun.
And a great
almost FREE
recycling project!
Woah!
The potential!!
I hope you enjoy!
